This is the photo the band would like to go ahead and use. Purchased off Stock photos. i had to buy 5 photos to download 1 but the nad have paid for that transaction which is great news. My job is to find a font that I can use legally. This is proving very difficult at the moment but research will lead me in the right direction. If need be I will have to buy a font.
1)
I thought I would have a go with the leaflet without any mock-ups and I feel this first example says I possibly won't need any mock ups (on paper that is). Only problem is the white against the light blues of the photograph. Some places are slightly ineligible and not easy to read. This font is just a tester font. i still need to have a scan about and see what I can find.
2)
Do I go left aligned or centre alined!?
3)
Left alined does to me look better and gives the leaflet more structure and organisation. It's this font I need to sort out though. Nice script font I find are very difficult to discover.
4)
I much prefer this font for 'The Dead Stray'; beginning to have second thought s on the body text but I'll get round to that later. I now want to get this crited as i need some feedback. Especially because the white is looking a bit ineligible against the photo. One thought would be to make the photo slightly darker. The black a think might be a bit more ineligible than the white. It was worth a try though.
5)
Playing around with some old fonts I tried earlier but without the rectangle and having it left alined. I quite like the look its starting to have but I have a feeling the font isn't quite right yet. The single cover font must be the same as the main font on the leaflet. maybe this means I get round to designing the cover and then come back to this? Maybe so. However it is probably time I got some feedback in these first 5 examples.
