Amsterdam Zine// A5 Zine Arrived// Packaging & Stickers

Zines

Very happy with this reprint. Everything is perfect and the photos have come out perfectly. I coulsn't have hoped for a better outcome! I bought a permanent marker and carfully got round to numbering each zine, being very carful not to mark two zines with the same number, which unfortunantly is the kind of thing I would do when not paying attention.

Packaging and Stickers

Envelopes to send out.

To stay on the safe side, I decided I would cut two pieces of card board and then later them over the zine before putting them in the envelope. This way the zine will stay protected from and bumps it way get on its journey.

WPP// Final Photos & Mock Ups

Luke and I were so lucky in we had such a good studio to photograph in. Thanks to Sam Lane who organised to have our own photoshoot area, the whole year was able to produce professional photographs. After the photo shoot Luke and I went on to photoshop to make our photo that little bit more clear.

WPP// Final Video

Both Luke and myself are over the moon with the final outcome of our video. We couldn't have wished for a better outcome. The last hours of the video did prove very difficult as we found many little things that had to be redone or improved. Esically the sound, in areas the sound went a bit off and became very obvious to us as we played the video over and over.

What I am most pleased with is how we have fit the concept clearly is just two minutes. The video is so clear and it is obvious what our aim is. Considering the video is our 6 week project crammed into a 2 minute video it is amazing how well it has come out.

George Simms Photography// Leaflet Construction

Inspiration

Here we have our inpsiration. It's these envelopes we want to create!
So george and I have decided that because they cost of these envelopes is way over out limit, we will hand make them instead.

The envelopes took a very long time indeed but they look nice and once the leaflets arrive and the business cards are finished everything will fit together very nicely indeed. On average I would say one envelope takes roughly 5 minutes to do, so you can imagine how hands on a demanding making these is for George and myself.

We decided to make a net out of cardboard and then draw round it, this defiently seems the most effective way of doing this.

FINISHED. I can't say it was easy because truth be told is was horrible and I never want to do it again. Nevertheless, here we have 50 see through envelops ready for George's business cards and leaflets. The next thing to do is to print the leaflets and business cards.

Einstein's Idea// Cover and Inner Sleeve Construction

Luckily drop in was empty and was able to print off my cover and inner sleeve. I also printed off my centre labelling but I will have to wait till the record arrives till I can do anything about that! The construction of my covers went really well and everything fits perfectly as you can see in the photo above.  Again I have gone with laminating my cover and the outcome is fantastic. The cover before hand lacked contrast and colour but for some reason the lamination fixed this completely.
